Camp Fees
Summer Science Camp is offered at a minimal fee of $195 for all six days. The fee is charged in order to offset the cost of workshop supplies, printed materials, and facility use for the six days of Camp. Students will also receive an SSC t-shirt and DVD. Camp fees should be paid by mailing a check payable to TEAM Science as soon as online registration is completed.
Scholarships
Scholarship applications are no longer being accepted. If you wish to have your child attend the Summer Science Camp but cannot afford to send them, please contact us by phone at (562) 321-9021.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be made by June 13, 2008 in order to receive a refund. Based on the initial payment method, a refund will be issued (minus a $20 cancellation fee).
Drop-Off & Pick-Up
All students must check in and out with a parent or guardian daily. Please do not just drop your child off without being present at check-in. Each morning of camp, an Authorized to Pick-Up (ATP) Card will be given to the parent or legal guardian dropping the student off. The ATP Card must be turned in to the Workshop Instructor when the student is picked up from his/her workshop. The adult responsible for picking up the student at the end of the day must have the ATP Card in his/her possession. For your convenience, ATP Cards may be left with the Summer Science Camp staff for pick-up at the end of the day. However, a valid photo ID will be required in order to pick up the ATP Card at the end of the day. Math Enrichment begins at 7:30am. Workshops begin at 9:00am. Students should check in at least 10-15 minutes before their session begins. All students must be picked up promptly at 3:00pm, unless they are registered for the Extended Day Program.
Snacks and Lunch
Campers will not be able to buy individual snacks or lunches from DD Johnston Elementary School. Campers are not allowed to leave the campus for lunch under any circumstances. You must provide a lunch for your child. Lunch breaks are supervised by Summer Science Camp staff.
Workshop Changes
Workshop changes must be made by June 20, 2008. Changes cost $15 per workshop and depend upon availability. There is no guarantee that space will be available in another workshop and no refunds will be given, so please plan carefully before registering.

Summer Science Camp 2008 will be held at DD Johnston Elementary School in Norwalk, CA. DD Johnston Elementary School is located at 13421 Fairford Avenue, Norwalk, CA 90650.
